The device connects to the terminals of the existing intercom using the power already present in the system. When someone rings the doorbell, Ring Intercom Audio sends an instant notification to your smartphone and allows you to start a real-time streaming audio conversation, just as if you were in front of the intercom. It works wherever there is a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.
One of the most useful features is the ability to create and share temporary virtual keys directly from the Ring app, without duplicating physical keys.
